Happy Gut for Life Waffles:
Ingredients:
1 Cup Organic Almond Flour
¼ tsp Sea Salt
¼ tsp baking soda
3 Eggs separated
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
¼ cup water
1 tbsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Berries (optional)
1 tbsp honey (optional)
Directions:
- Sift flour, salt and baking soda (cinnamon too if using) in a large bowl.
- Mix egg yolks, water, honey, butter and vanilla in another bowl.
- Stir egg yolk mixture into the almond flour bowl.
- Mix well. Whip egg whites until stiff. Fold egg whites into the batter.
- Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Cook waffles according to waffle iron directions.
