Wild Rice Stuffing with Apples:
1 cup of finely chopped onion
1 cup of finely chopped celery
1 cup of finely chopped carrots
6 gloves of garlic, minced
1 cup of Italian parsley
1 teaspoon of mixed seasoning blend (poultry blend — chichis actually vegan)
4 cups of wild rice
2 cups of grated apple
1/4 cup of raisins
- Water sauce the onions, celery, carrots, and garlic until onion is translucent, and the carrots are soft. Depending on how small you chop them, this could take 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in the grate apple and seasoning and cook for another minute or two.
- Add parsley and cooled wild rice and stir until well combined.
