We may have to “stay at home” but we still need to move! Finding an exercise that works into our new “normal” can and will be easy and fun if you stick with me! Here’s one to do EVERYDAY;; My Cardio + Strength Outside Workout — with emphasis on legs:
This is what you do: un/walk: 30-40 minutes (you can also add a 30/40 minutes in home Body + Mind strength training —contact me for suggestions.
Each time a song ends — find a curb — stand on it with heels overhanging and lift up and down 8 x followed by alternating heal lifts 8 x (same result as “walking down dog”) and end with 8 x hold heels down. Use this MOTIVATING playlist I made especially for this.
For better support — find a curb with a tree or stop sign you can balance with. These heel lifts are really important to keeping your body flexible while building balance and strength.
End your walk/run on the last song, Water Harp + silence OR all in silence: 5 minutes. Tune into how you FEEL with loving kindness towards YOU. Add any stretches your body needs.
