*One Day To Wellness Power Balls
- ½ cup of walnuts
- ½ cup of cashews or almonds
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1 t. vanilla
- ¼ cup cacao powder
- Options to add: ¼ cacao nibs, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, dark chocolate chips, shredded coconut or chopped walnuts, healthy sprinkles, almond, sunflower or peanut butter, protein powder (chocolate or vanilla). goji berries or….
- In a food processor – process nuts. Add dates, vanilla and cacao powder. Process until mixed well. Add any of the optional ingredients in all or some mixed into the balls or rolled onto (mix protein powder and goji berries). Add a sprinkle or 2 of water if mixture is too dry. Make small balls with mixture and freeze for 1 hour or longer. Keep in freezer and when ready to eat – take out and let sit for a few minutes in room temperature.
