- 6 avocados, sliced & pitted
- 1 can drained diced tomatoes & option: c hilis, drained (low sodium)
- Juice of 1t o 2 lemons or 2 to 3 limes
- 1/4 cup of fresh chopped cilantro ( of 1 teaspoon dried cilantro) Can be left out
- 1-2 t garlic powder
- Dash of salt and pepper to taste
- Slice open avocados, remove and discard seeds and then scoop out avocado into a medium bowl. Mash avocado with back of a fork or spoon until smooth, but slightly chunky if desired.
- Add the rest of ingredients & mix until well combined. Taste and add more garlic, salt, pepper, or cilantro i necessary.
- Serve immediately.
- TO store guacamole: put the guacamole in airtight storage container. Take Press N Seal or a plastic wrap and press it against the guacamole and up the sides of the container to completely seal out the air. Then put the airtight lid OVER the Press N Seal. Guacamole
