INGREDIENTS:
1 large ripe banana (about 1/2 cup mashed)
1 cup of gluten-free oats (I like Traitor Joe’s)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup cranberries or raisins (optional)
2-4 tablespoons dark chocolate chips (optional)
2 tablespoons cacao nibs
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 350
Place the banana in a medium-sized mixing bowl and mash with a potato masher or fork. Add, the oats, cinnamon, cranberries or raisins and chocolate chips and/or cacao nibs if using them. Mix until uniform.
Scoop out the mixture using a heaping tablespoon — you should get about 8 cookies -. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten them slightly to make discs.
Place the cookies in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until browned on the sides. Cool completely before eating. Can be a snack or dessert too! FROM: The Medical Medium: “The Liver Cleanse”.
